Becoming one of our consumer customers:  We use the lawful basis of consent for processing data. We capture this consent verbally, via a phone call with you to confirm you are happy for the data you have submitted via our webform, to be passed on to our affiliate Leads2Trade Limited. We record all calls for compliance checking.

We will process your name, phone number, email and postal address, so that we can put you in contact with Leads2Trade Limited who in turn will put you in touch with Trusted suppliers who will provide you with the home improvement quotes you have requested.

If we are unable to reach you by telephone, we will send you an email to introduce you to Leads2Trade Ltd who may contact you directly to help you with getting a quote for the specific product you are looking for.

We will call you to check that we have the correct information and learn about how we can connect you with the best quotes in your geographical area.

Our phone calls are recorded for training purposes however if you are uncomfortable with this, we will not proceed with the call and delete the recording. We also use aggregated and anonymised data to keep records for our own business use.

When you send us an enquiry: You may have sent us an enquiry via the contact page on our website.  We will collect your name and contact details as it is in our legitimate interest to do so that we can enter into correspondence with you and answer your enquiry.

How long do we keep your personal data?

If you are a consumer customer of ours: we will keep your personal data for as long as we have business dealings with you and then for a further 12 months.  This is because the quotes that you obtain are valid for up to a period of 12 months and it is important for us to be able to assist with any enquiries you have during that time.

If you have consented to receive email marketing from us, we will keep your personal data until you unsubscribe.

How do we use your personal data to communicate with you?

Non-Marketing Communications include: service messages regarding quotes or appointments from our third party services to enquiries and other communications to ensure that we deliver the services you expect from us.

Marketing Communications include: Emails regarding other services we offer as well as content marketing we hope you will find useful. If you are one of our consumer customers, you will only receive email marketing from us if you have given us your consent. We do send out unsolicited email marketing messages to our business customers when we feel we have a legitimate interest to do so. You are welcome to unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time.

If you have consented to marketing cookies such as Facebook Pixels you may be served Facebook Ads regarding our services.  You can change your cookies consent at any time by visiting our Cookie Consent Management Platform.  You may also wish to change your Facebook settings if you don’t want to see targeted advertising.

Who has access to your personal data?

We share your personal data with Leads2Trade Ltd so we can fulfil our contract with you to help us run our business and to fulfil our legal obligations.

Leads2Trade Ltd will share your details with the suppliers in your geographical area who are able to give you a quote for the work, you require. 

We ensure that our systems are robust, and we will only share your data with organisations who have appropriate safeguarding mechanisms in place such as Standard Contractual Clauses.  We have Data Processing Agreements with our Data Processors and never sell personal data to third parties unless we have your agreement to do so.

What are your rights?

You have several rights which you can access free of charge.  In certain circumstances we reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee if your requests are unfounded or excessive.

You have the right:

  • To be informed about the collection and use of your personal data.
  • To access your personal data via a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR)
  • To have inaccurate personal data corrected or completed
